January 13 - 17, 2012: We will be showing your favorite hats at the Western Equestrian Sales Association Market (WESA) in Denver, Colorado. Coinciding with the National Western Stock Show, but a way down the highway at the Denver Merchandise Mart, the Denver Market is where all the best western stores owners come to stock their stores. We will be showing Akubra hats in room ER-K49. http://www.denver-wesa.org/ September, 2011: Our latest additions to our stock service hat selection are the Traveller in Black and the Pro 30X Beaver Hat in Black and Sand. Akubra has recently developed this beaver fur felt. Beaver is hard to source, due to worldwide quotas, but produces one of the smoothest, most resilient felt hats in the world. Akubra's beaver fur felt has 30% beaver fur, 70% rabbit fur, creating a tight, lightweight felt with great resiliency and a very smooth finish. September, 2010: We are pleased to add the Akubra Stylemaster to our stock service hats. The Stylemaster, a pre-creased Fedora, will suit hat lovers of all ages.
June, 2010: Akubra's legendary quality is now in a hemp straw hat, the Hemp Range. Hemp is one of the world's strongest fibers. The fibers are naturally resistant to mold and ultraviolet light and are extremely resistant to abrasion. Hemp straw hats are stronger than toquilla fiber Panamas, are more durable and will last longer.
April, 2010: We have just added the Stony Creek fur felt hat to the Akubras we offer from stock service here in North America. One of Akubra's newer styles, the Stony Creek has a center crease and side dents, and a double-tassled horsehair band.
